Blueberry Chia Bliss Smoothie

I created this smoothie recipe after my Strawberries and Cream smoothie recipe became so popular! The chia seeds in this add a nice texture and boost your nutrition intake! Chia has become one of my favorite add ins to many of my smoothies due to its high nutritional value! Chia provides your body with essential potassium, calcium, omega-3's, iron, magnesium and fiber! That is some pretty significant nutritional, superfood power!!!!

You will need the following to make this delicious smoothie:

1/4 Cup of Frozen Blueberries

1 Frozen Banana

*Tip* You will always want to use frozen fruit because it is what gives your smoothies a smooth and creamy texture!

2 Tablespoons of Almond Butter- Cashew Butter is a great alternative too!

1 Tablespoon of Maca

1 Tablespoon of Hemp Seeds

1 Teaspoon of Chia Seeds

1/2 Teaspoon of Cinnamon

4 Medjool Dates, pitted

14 Ounces of Unsweetened Almond Milk- I prefer unsweetened Vanilla almond milk for this recipe because the vanilla enriches the flavor!

Blend on low, increasing the speed slowly to ensure the texture stays creamy! Then you are ready to enjoy!
