Lemon Basil Vinaigrette

This year I grew a beautiful herb garden and have had fresh herbs to cook with all spring and summer, which I have loved with a passion! Tonight, after looking at my abundance of basil, I decided a fresh basil dressing would be the perfect pair to a light spinach green salad for dinner. This was created and was light and exactly what I set out to make!
Here is what you will need to make this lovely vinaigrette:
1 Cup of Fresh Basil Leaves
1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
1/4 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
1/2 Tablespoon of Agave
2 Tablespoon of Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 Teaspoon Lemon Zest
1/2 Cup of Olive Oil
Combine all ingredients in a small food processor or blender. Blend until leaves are finely chopped. Shake well before serving. Will keep refrigerated for 3 days.
