My Daily 'Wonder Woman' Smoothie Recipe...This Will Make You Whatever Super Hero You Want To

If you want to have super powers, you need super foods to fuel you! I have fallen in love with this smoothie recipe I created!
Everyday I have one for breakfast and sometimes lunch and it always gives me SO much energy and fuels me for the entire day! Sometimes I'm actually in shock that at 10 o'clock at night I still have energy to dance around my house!
The main ingredients are Cacao, Hemp and Maca, which are superfoods. Foods that are deemed as 'Superfood', are nutrient rich food that are incredibly beneficial for your overall health and well-being.
Cacao is the highest plant-based form of iron. It is also loaded with magnesium to boost your heart health and your brain and nervous system.
Maca is known to enhance fertility, boost your sex drive and improve your overall energy and stamina.
Hemp seeds are a complete protein source, meaning they provide all the essential amino acids. Three tablespoons of hemp seeds has 11 g of protein! Talk about a true protein shake!
Cacao, maca and hemp seeds are a wonderful match to pack a powerful punch and truly fuel your body with all of the vitamins, nutrients, minerals and protein you need to thrive!
This recipe is a great alternative for people looking to switch their morning coffee routine for something healthier. It also is a great alternative to most pre-made protein and energy and workout shakes.
Here is what you will need to make this powerful fuel:
8 to 10 ounces of unsweetened almond milk
One handful of raw almonds
One whole banana... I like to use frozen bananas because it creates a nice texture but room temperature bananas work as well
1 Tablespoon of maca
3 Tablespoons of raw cacao powder
2 Tablespoons of ground flaxseed
3 Tablespoons of hemp seeds... Feel free to add more if you'd like!
1/2 Teaspoon of ground cinnamon
4 to 5 pitted dates or 4 tablespoons of agave, to sweeten
*Optional* you can add a teaspoon of chia seeds if you'd like to boost your omega intake. Just know that chia seed will thicken your smoothie quite a bit as liquid makes chia swell.
Blend on high for about a minute!
