Traditional Middle Eastern Style Tahini Sauce

I have become very much in love with middle eastern food and creating traditional food from this magical part of the world inspires me greatly. I love to cook and create and enjoy foods from many different cultures but middle eastern food has a special way to this girls heart!

I hope you enjoy this traditional way tahini sauce is made in the middle east. I enjoy this on falafel or sweet potatoes or eggplant. There are so many ways to enjoy this, so get creative and enjoy!

This recipe is very simple using only four ingredients! Grab a bowl and whisk and add the following:

1/2 Cup of Tahini ( I like to use authentic imported tahini as I find the flavor is the best)

2 Fresh Garlic Cloves, crushed through a garlic press

1/4 Teaspoon of Salt

1/3 Cup of Fresh Lemon Juice (Use fresh as this step gives the best flavor)

Whisk together and add 1/8 to 1/4 cup of water until you get the desired consistency you are looking for!

That is it and you are ready to enjoy this tahini sauce on whatever your heart desires! Enjoy!
