Creating Change in The New Year

It is a new year and for a lot of people, it's a time for renewal and reflection. A time for change. A time to really listen to what your own needs are.
Creating change comes in many forms and can look many ways. Leaving a relationship that no longer serves you. Changing careers to more suit your purpose. Clearing your space to declutter your home. Eating a well-balanced diet. Incorporating more creative endeavors into your life. Moving your body every day.
Whatever the change, you will want to make sure that you are consciously making the choice to make the change a positive one.
This is a good time to experiment with how to best care for yourself, body, mind and soul. It is not about being perfect, but instead giving yourself what you need in order to create a positive change in your life.
Often times we get so caught up in our lives, caring for everyone around us, working round the clock and running ourselves ragged, that we forget to fill our own cup. And my friends, you cannot pour from an empty cup. This I know.
So I encourage you to just sit down, make yourself a cup of tea, and reflect. Be honest with yourself.
It is in this moment that we are honest with ourselves, that we can begin to truly create a beautiful, positive change.
