Apple Cinnamon G'raw'nola

I came up with this recipe one night while I was having a craving for something sweet and comforting! I adore anything with apples and cinnamon! The two combined remind me of the fall season and all the flavors, colors and scents of this lovely, comforting time of year! Not only is this recipe delicious, it is very good for you! Pumpkin seeds are loaded with heart-healthy Magnesium, Zinc, Omega 3 fats. Chia seeds are full of fiber, Omega 3 fats and protein. Its a power packed treat! Enjoy making some for yourself and grab a moment to enjoy the heart warming feeling this nutritious, delicious treat brings!

You will need the following ingredients:

1 Apple of your choice, chopped (I like to use Fuji Apples)

1/2 cup of Raw Almonds

1/4 cup of Sprouted Raw Pumpkin Seeds

1/3 cup Organic Raisins

1/8 cup of Chia Seeds

1/8 cup of Organic Real Maple Syrup

1 teaspoon of Cinnamon

In a large bowl, combine apples, cinnamon, raisins, and maple syrup. Mix well and set aside.

Next add the almonds, chia seeds, and pumpkin seeds to a food processor. Pulse for 30 seconds. When done, add your nut and seed mixture to your apple mixture.

And VOILA!!! Your g'raw'nola is complete and ready to eat!!! Chill in your fridge covered. It will last 3 to 5 days in the fridge but honestly, I think you will eat it all in one day! It is so YUMMY! Another variation to make this is to add shredded unsweetened coconut or add other nuts that you may like! You can also eat this like cereal and pour almond milk or coconut milk over top!

The point of making food is to have FUN and be creative!!! Explore by adding different flavors and textures! I hope you enjoy making this dish and that you are inspired to create nutritious AND delicious food! ENJOY and Much LOVE!!!!
