Natures Relaxation Remedy

Just this week I was introduced to Kava Kava Root Tea after visiting my favorite local natural food store! I was happily introduced to someone who knew a lot of the teas benefits! After telling him how I have had terrible dreams and have gotten a sound nights sleep in almost 2 years, he told me I had to try Kava Kava! I was so intrigued by this plant that promised to' rid me of my nightmares', I bought a bunch and headed home prepared for the best!

I got home and made myself a small cup and as I was made aware, my tongue felt kind of tingly! Thankfully, I was told this would happen, otherwise I would have been a bit freaked out! As I sipped my tea, I found myself feeling very relaxed. At first I thought it may be in my head but it wasn't! My muscles relaxed and I felt sleepy and calm and ready for bed and it was early for me! I was so excited to sleep!

When I woke up the next morning, I can honestly say I had the BEST sleep I have had in 2 years and the loveliest dreams as well! I wanted to go back to bed my dreams were so good! So as promised, my nightmares were gone and I found a new love! KAVA!!!!

For those of you unaware of this miracle tea and its history and benefits, here is what my research has lead me to! Enjoy!

Kava Kava, is a small shrub native to the islands of the South Pacific. The roots and stems are made into a non-alcoholic, psychoactive drink that has been used socially and ceremonially for hundreds of years in Hawaii, Fiji, and Tonga. In the islands, the people drink the tea when they have finished work, the way in the west people commonly use alcohol. It has been shown to help people with anxiety, hyperactivity, nervousness, stress relief and as a pain reliever!

I also found there are Kava bars, all around the world! I love the idea of tea bars and I find it refreshing to see people engaging in social activities that do not surround alcohol! So for those of you suffering from insomnia, nightmares, stress, anxiety, and would like an alternative to prescription drugs or alcohol to use to cope, try KAVA!!!

Happy tea sipping!
